My name is James Morris and I am the agriculture and natural resource/community development educator for Brown County. I am originally from Ross County, Ohio where I spent several years working on neighboring farms and gained experience in soybean, corn, cattle and hay production. I was also a 10-year member of Ross County 4-H where I showed hogs and served on the Ross County Junior Fair Board. During that time I also gained experience with swine production as I raised my own litter.

I took my interest in agriculture to the next level and completed a dual track bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business and Agronomy from Morehead State University. I am also a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau. My free time is spent doing anything outdoors including camping, kayaking and fishing.
