Biography: 

Amanda joined OSU Extension-Cuyahoga County as the Community Development Educator in September of 2015. She has been working with local food systems for the last five years, gaining experience in both Washington, D.C. and Cleveland. She received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Geography from Ohio University, and received her Master of Urban Geography degree from The George Washington University.

Amanda is a strong advocate for social and environmental justice, and has experience with geospatial analysis, equity mapping, food access, and farmers’ markets. She has worked closely with the farmers’ market based SNAP incentive and Fruit and Vegetable Prescription programming in Cuyahoga County.

Amanda is a member of the Greater Cleveland Beekeepers Association (GCBA) and the American Community Garden Association (ACGA).
