Each year, over 48,000 individuals engage in Ohio State University Extension's Community Development programming, participating in more than 800 educational events across the state. With over 200 community partner relationships and $27.4 million in extramural funding, we’re driving real impact where it matters most.
From business retention efforts supporting thousands of jobs, to agrivoltaics research, broadband expansion, and regional economic development projects, our work spans four key areas: economic development, leadership development, organizational capacity building, and community planning.
