The National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals (NACDEP) honored Greg Davis with a Distinguished Career Award at its annual conference. Greg currently serves as the George R. and Genevieve B. Gist Endowed Chair in Ohio State University Extension.
Greg’s Extension career began in 1996 as an educator in Fulton County. Now a professor, endowed chair, and past state CD leader, Greg exemplifies the values and mission of the Extension program. His work in leadership development has had a national impact, showcasing how dedication and passion can positively affect communities. Over the years, he gained valuable experience and steadily advanced in leadership roles. He served as assistant director for Community Development and as associate chair of the Department of Extension before being appointed to his current position.
We are grateful for the many ways Greg supports Extension professionals across Ohio and the nation. His dedication to helping others succeed in fulfilling the land-grant mission of universities is truly commendable. Congratulations, Greg!
