    Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14 INTRODUCTION Microsoft Office Excel is a beginner's class where students will identify spreadsheet components, learn about different data types, enter data, format data, copy and move data, and print and learn the usage of basic formulas and functions.     On May 18 Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Lab join participants around the globe to heighten awareness of different life jacket types, including inflatable life jackets, and set a world record for the most inflatable life jackets worn and inflated. The local “Clean and Safe Boating Day” will take place on Saturday, May 18, at the Aquatic Visitors Center at Put-In-Bay, Ohio, from 11 :00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and the official life jacket world record event will occur at 12:00 p.m.

    Ohio food producers wanting to increase their markets, grow their customer base, improve profitability, and increase visibility can learn strategies on how to leverage mobile media marketing at the Maps and Apps Workshop to be held April 24 at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $75 per person ($25 for each additional person from the same business). Julie Fox, direct marketing specialist, will lead the hands-on workshop. Registration deadline is April 19.

    This distance-based short course will be conducted online April 22 through April 30 and will address the impacts of climate change on water resources in the Great Lakes region and watershed-level approaches to community resilience. Participants will gain an understanding of water-related impacts of climate change in the Great Lakes region, more sustainable approaches to water infrastructure planning, and practical tools for water professionals to empower communities to take action at the watershed level.
