Photovoltaic (PV) panels are an increasingly common sight on urban rooftops and rural properties across the U.S. The declining cost of equipment and installation makes installing a behind-the-electric-meter (net metered) solar electric system enticing for many farmers. Evaluating the financial prudence of an investment in solar requires careful consideration of installation costs, the value of production, and operations and maintenance costs.
OSU Extension CD professionals will continue 2018 NACDEP Conference planning efforts. We will host this conference at the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland, June 10-13, 2018.
An AD Update will also be provided, as well as discussion on designEXT.

Join CD colleagues as we finalize plans for the biggest OSU Extension CD program effort of 2018 (the 2018 NACDEP conference in Cleveland), including meeting with the NACDEP Board on September 28. Progress on key programmatic and organizational goals for the next 3-5 years and our part of “Health Extension” will also be discussed. Professional development and administrative update for OSU Extension Community Development faculty and staff will take place as well.
