The OSU Extension Energy Outreach Program will present a webinar on May 26 at 10 a.m. The topic is “Measuring the Effects of Large Scale Solar Projects in Ohio,” featuring Dr. Gilbert Michaud, Assistant Professor of Practice at the George V. Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University. He primarily teaches courses in the school’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) program.
Dr. Michaud is engaged in a comprehensive study of all large solar farms in the state of Ohio. He will share the results of his ongoing research on economic impacts, workforce, tax revenues, pollution and business demand. This should be valuable information for those of you working with communities throughout the state of Ohio.
