Energize Ohio Signature Program Train-the-Trainer Workshop – April 15
Help your community address energy as a critical statewide issue!
The abundance of natural resources and extensive open space positions rural communities across Ohio to play a central role in future energy development projects. However, energy development presents impacted communities with new social, economic, and environmental opportunities and challenges. Extension Educators throughout Ohio are in an ideal position to educate communities on the potential impacts of energy development and support them through the transition.
To better understand what role you can play to address energy development issues in your community, we encourage you to attend the free Energize Ohio Signature Program Train-the-Trainer Workshop on Monday, April 15, at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center (Gehres Room). The overall objective of this workshop is to provide OSU Extension Educators a comprehensive understanding of energy development in Ohio and how the Energize Ohio Signature Program addresses the opportunities and challenges through research-based educational programming. There is no cost for registration and lunch will be provided.
