AD Update:
Time for Listing Active Team Affiliation
A few weeks ago we talked about updating the team listing. One place you will see this listing is in RIV (and previously in OSU:pro, and URS before that). A listing of active teams communicates topics of importance to us. It also better enables our colleagues to decide how and with whom they would like to affiliate in pursuit of shared goals. (If you saw on a list that a team focused on eating brownies existed, who wouldn’t want to join?) You may recall I requested that you reflect on your active ‘teaming’ pursuits and bring your list to share at the CD in-service on June 27. Unfortunately, we did not have time to share lists then. No worries, we have the Internet for times like these. If you have not already, please create a list of teams in which you are active and forward to me by July 11. If the group is small, please include as many team member names as you can remember. If you were part of a team you know has disbanded, please send that info, too. After we have a handle on our currently active teams, we will be sharing the team listing in a number of formats and methods soon.
June 27 In-Service Presentations
For folks who couldn’t attend the June 27 in-service, you can get a small taste of what was shared by checking out the presentation materials of Frank (Lake Erie Update) and Sarah (Ohio Clean Marinas Program). Items discussed in the AD Update include:
- progress on factsheet review, revision, and/or new development
- continuing efforts to create and maintain our web and social media presence
- a national meeting review 2012 and preview 2013
- discussion of a possible annual Excellence in CD Award
Find more details posted on the CD Facebook Chat page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/OSU-Extension-Community-Development/239984182708049#!/groups/OSUECDChat/.
CD Retreat - Do You Plan to Attend?
We need to give Fleming Falls Retreat Center an estimate of the number of people in need of lodging for the CD retreat. Please let Sandy know by July 12 whether or not you plan to stay overnight on September 26.
