Local Leadership Group Meeting

Nov 23, 2015, 9:00am - 12:00pm
Location:
Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center, Gehres Room

Local Leadership Group Meeting - November 23 from 9:00 a.m. until noon at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center (Gehres Room)

Purpose of meeting:

Many Ohio Extension professionals across the state run or are involved in local leadership programs. At our quarterly CD meeting on October 14, there was some talk about forming a work group for those of us who are working on or have worked on leadership development projects. The initial focus of the group would be to look at the various curricula available for local leadership programs and put together one that has the flexibility for use in rural, urban, or suburban locations as well as with both youth and adults. Part of the discussion was also around the inclusion of other programs that would strengthen local leadership, such as using the First Impressions curricula and also potentially partnering for the program kick-off for a day long training using one of the many programs available (MBTI, Strength Finders, etc).

If you have worked with a local leadership program in the past, are currently working on one, or would be interested in starting one in the future, we would love to have you join us. Please bring a copy of whatever leadership curriculum you are currently using.
